The Young Filmmakers Showcase is a free community event celebrating young filmmakers.  Selected short films from the Sunshine Coast will be showcased at Birch Carroll and Coyle Cinemas Maroochydore on Sunday May 16th 2010.  

The aim is to unite young filmmakers and inspire future filmmakers by encouraging young people to share ideas, have their voices heard on issues of concern to them, showcase their talents and celebrate their contribution to the community.
